Abstract

ABSTRACT: This article investigates the effectiveness of task-based English for Specific Purposes (ESP) instruction in developing professional language skills of railway technical college students. Drawing on previous pedagogical research and teaching experience, the study emphasizes the integration of interactive tasks, professional scenarios, and reflective practices into English language teaching. The article argues that task-based ESP instruction enhances communicative competence, learner motivation, and professional readiness in vocational education.
