This field focuses on holistic and developmentally appropriate care to promote health, prevent disease, and support families throughout the child’s healthcare journey. Pediatric nurses play a critical role in assessing health needs, providing clinical care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and advocating for patient safety and well-being.
