This article analyzes the pathogenetic mechanisms that play an important role in the development of coronary heart disease and chronic heart failure. The role of myocardial perfusion disorders, atherosclerotic processes, activation of neurohormonal systems, and metabolic changes in the development of these diseases is highlighted. Structural and functional changes occurring in the heart muscle, hemodynamic disorders, and the role of compensatory mechanisms are also considered. The results of the study show that it is important to determine the interrelationship of these pathological processes and prevent the development of the disease.
