Аннотация. Паремиология, как наука, изучающая пословицы и поговорки, представляет собой одну из самых интересных и многогранных областей лингвистики, которая позволяет глубже понять культурные, социальные и языковые особенности народа. В рамках этой дисциплины особое внимание уделяется модальности — категории, отражающей отношение говорящего к содержанию высказывания, а также его намерениям и оценкам. Компонент модальности в паремиологии русского языка представляет собой важный аспект, который способствует пониманию не только лексических и семантических особенностей пословиц и поговорок, но и их прагматической нагрузки в контексте общения.
Abstract. Paremiology, as a science that studies proverbs and sayings, is one of the most interesting and multifaceted areas of linguistics, which allows for a deeper understanding of the cultural, social and linguistic characteristics of the people. Within the framework of this discipline, special attention is paid to modality, a category that reflects the speaker's attitude to the content of the utterance, as well as his intentions and assessments. The component of modality in the paremiology of the Russian language is an important aspect that contributes to understanding not only the lexical and semantic features of proverbs and sayings, but also their pragmatic load in the context of communication.
