Abstract

Assessment is a fundamental component of education, serving to measure student learning, provide feedback, and guide instructional decisions. Traditional assessment methods, however, often face challenges such as time-consuming grading, subjectivity, limited feedback, and potential bias, which can affect the accuracy and fairness of evaluation. With the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI), educational institutions are increasingly exploring AI-driven solutions to address these challenges. AI technologies, including automated grading systems, adaptive testing platforms, and predictive analytics, offer significant advantages by streamlining assessment processes, enhancing the precision of evaluations, and reducing human bias. Moreover, AI can provide personalized feedback, allowing educators to tailor instruction to individual learners’ needs, thereby promoting more equitable learning outcomes. This article examines the role of AI in modern educational assessment, analyzing its potential to improve efficiency, accuracy, and fairness.
