Ushbu maqolada grafiklar nazariyasining asosiy tushunchalarini yoritishga bag‘ishlangan bo‘lib, unda graf, cho‘qqi (tugun), qirra, yo‘naltirilgan va yo‘naltirilmagan graf, bog‘langanlik, daraja, yo‘l, sikl, daraxt va to‘liq graf kabi fundamental tushunchalar izohlanadi. Grafiklar nazariyasining paydo bo‘lishi, rivojlanishi hamda informatika, matematika, transport tarmoqlari, kompyuter tarmoqlari va algoritmlarni loyihalashdagi amaliy ahamiyati ko‘rsatib beriladi. Mavzu talabalarda grafiklar yordamida real masalalarni modellashtirish, tahlil qilish va yechim topish ko‘nikmalarini shakllantirishga xizmat qiladi.
