Ushbu maqolada ratsional ovqatlanishning asosiy tamoyillari, inson organizmi uchun zarur bo‘lgan oziq moddalar, energiya balansi hamda to‘g‘ri ovqatlanishning salomatlikni saqlashdagi ahamiyati yoritilgan. Shuningdek, ratsional ovqatlanish orqali turli kasalliklarning oldini olish, organizmning normal faoliyatini ta’minlash va sog‘lom turmush tarzini shakllantirish masalalari keng ko‘rib chiqilgan.
