Abstract: In recent years, the use of audiovisual materials has become increasingly popular in language learning. Among these materials, movies play a significant role in improving English language skills. This article explores how watching movies can enhance learners’ listening, speaking, vocabulary, pronunciation, and cultural understanding. It also discusses the psychological benefits, such as increased motivation and reduced learning anxiety. Furthermore, the article provides practical recommendations for selecting movies according to learners’ proficiency levels, including beginner, intermediate, and advanced stages. The findings suggest that movies are an effective and engaging tool that can support both formal and informal English learning when used properly.
