Abstract

Today, sustainable competitive advantage cannot be achieved solely through cost- and speed-oriented approaches; the effective implementation of quality management systems is also of strategic importance for businesses. The Quality Management System (QMS) is an integrated management approach based on process orientation, continuous improvement, and a standardized management mindset. Particularly in enterprises operating as subcontractors in the defense industry, quality is not merely a competitive factor but a direct necessity in terms of product safety, system reliability, and contractual obligations.
