ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEMS AND THEIR SOLUTIONS
Abstract
Environmental problems have become one of the most serious challenges facing humanity in the twenty-first century. The environment provides all living organisms with the resources necessary for survival, including air, water, food, and shelter. However, human activities have significantly damaged natural ecosystems and created numerous environmental issues. Rapid industrialization, urbanization, population growth, deforestation, pollution, and excessive consumption of natural resources have negatively affected the environment worldwide. Environmental degradation threatens not only plants and animals but also human health, economic development, and future generations. Climate change, air pollution, water contamination, loss of biodiversity, and waste accumulation are among the major environmental concerns today. These problems require immediate attention and collective action from governments, organizations, communities, and individuals. This article discusses the major environmental problems affecting the world, their causes and consequences, and possible solutions to protect and preserve the environment.
