Annotatsiya: Kumush (Ag) insoniyat tomonidan qadim zamonlardan buyon mikroorganizmlarga qarshi yuqori faolligi tufayli qo'llanib kelinayotgan muhim mikroelementlardan biridir. So'nggi yillarda nanobiotexnologiya rivojlanishi natijasida kumush nanozarrachalari tibbiyotning turli sohalarida, jumladan jarrohlik, dermatologiya, stomatologiya, travmatologiya, farmatsevtika va tibbiy buyumlar ishlab chiqarishda keng qo'llanilmoqda. Mazkur maqolada kumushning fizik-kimyoviy xossalari, biologik ta'sir mexanizmi, antibakterial, antivirus va zamburug'larga qarshi faolligi, zamonaviy tibbiyotdagi qo'llanilishi hamda ehtiyotkorlik bilan foydalanish zarur bo'lgan jihatlari ilmiy adabiyotlar asosida tahlil qilingan.
Abstract: Silver (Ag) has been recognized for centuries as a biologically active element with strong antimicrobial properties. Recent advances in nanotechnology have significantly expanded its medical applications in surgery, dermatology, dentistry, wound management, pharmaceuticals, and biomedical engineering. This article reviews the physicochemical properties of silver, its biological mechanisms of action, antimicrobial activity, current medical applications, advantages, potential toxicological effects, and future prospects based on contemporary scientific literature.
