In the modern world, English has become an essential language for education, employment, and global communication. While urban students often have better opportunities to learn the language, rural students remain at a disadvantage due to several barriers. Furthermore, students in rural areas often have outdated perspectives on the value of learning English, considering it unnecessary or irrelevant for their daily lives. This study seeks to explore practical solutions for overcoming such barriers by combining personal teaching experience in rural settings with document analysis, surveys, and observations. The results demonstrate that targeted teacher training programs, the integration of affordable technologies such as mobile learning applications, and the establishment of interactive learning environments like English clubs and peer groups significantly improve motivation and performance among rural learners. Additionally, institutional support in the form of free resources, scholarships, and volunteer involvement from university students can reduce the educational gap between rural and urban schools.
