Shadowing, a method where learners repeat after a model speaker—usually immediately and continuously—focuses on fostering an immersive experience in real-time linguistic processing. The technique stands out for its ability to reinforce phonetic accuracy, rhythm, intonation, and fluency, serving as a bridge between passive understanding and active usage of a target language.
