SUSTAINABLE ENERGY DEVELOPMENT IN UZBEKISTAN: STRATEGIC PERSPECTIVES OF COOPERATION WITH SAUDI ARAMCO

Abstract

In the article, we elaborate on the significance of sustainable energy development in Uzbekistan through the strategic cooperation with Saudi Aramco. The article examines whether foreign direct investment, advanced energy technologies, institutional collaboration, and strategic partnership are keys to make Uzbekistan’s energy sector more energy efficient and sustainable. The analytical literature is analyzed and compared in this paper, which is intended for a trend analysis on current development, investment frameworks, and technological outlook. The results show how cooperating with Saudi Aramco can lead to infrastructure modernization, improvement of energy efficiency, and integration into global energy value chains. The findings underscore the growing relevance of international energy partnerships to ensure long-term economic and energy security in Uzbekistan.
