Abstract

The modernization of medical education has become a global priority in response to evolving healthcare demands, particularly in specialized fields such as sports medicine and pediatrics. The strategic development of medical education systems for 2024–2030 emphasizes increasing international competitiveness, investment attractiveness, and educational quality through the implementation of World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) standards. This review analyzes key directions of medical education reform with a focus on competency-based education, practical skills development, and international accreditation, highlighting their relevance to pediatric and sports medicine training. The integration of WFME standards is expected to enhance clinical competence, promote international recognition of qualifications, and improve healthcare outcomes for children and adolescent athletes.
