THE EFFECTIVENESS OF USING MODERN METHODS AND TECHNOLOGIES IN TEACHING ENGLISH

Abstract

This article examines the effectiveness of using modern pedagogical methods and information and communication technologies in teaching the English language. It highlights the importance of innovative teaching approaches in improving students’ communicative competence and language skills. The study focuses on the application of interactive methods, digital tools, and technology-based resources in the English classroom. Special attention is given to the development of the four main language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The role of the teacher and modern assessment methods in enhancing the quality of English language education are also discussed. The findings suggest that integrating modern methods and technologies into English language teaching significantly improves learning outcomes and prepares students for global communication.
