Abstract

This article examines the importance of the sensory integration method in stimulating the process of speech comprehension in children with sensory alalia. It is shown that the problem of lack of speech understanding in sensory alalia is associated not only with speech centers but also with difficulties in integrating signals from various sensory channels (auditory, visual, vestibular). The article analyzes the positive aspects of developing a child's sensory foundation through sensory integration exercises, thereby creating favorable conditions for receiving speech signals. The author presents reflections on the effectiveness of enriching traditional speech therapy methods with sensory elements.
