Abstract

The present study focuses on the implementation of modern pedagogical technologies in teaching English at secondary schools. It highlights the significance of communicative, interactive, and competency-based approaches in improving students’ overall language skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing. The paper examines theoretical and practical perspectives of modern teaching methods, including project-based learning, problem-solving activities, and the integration of information and communication technologies (ICT).

Furthermore, the article identifies challenges faced by teachers while applying these methods and proposes practical strategies for overcoming these difficulties. The study demonstrates that the application of modern pedagogical technologies enhances students’ linguistic competence, increases motivation, and prepares learners for real-world English communication.
