In today’s interconnected global economy, English has become a critical skill for technical college students seeking to enter the international workforce. This article examines the role of English language learning in preparing students for professional success and global employability. The study emphasizes the integration of English for Specific Purposes (ESP), communicative competence, and digital learning tools into technical education. Challenges such as language proficiency gaps, low motivation, and limited exposure to authentic English contexts are analyzed. The article also discusses pedagogical strategies to enhance students’ global communication skills and adaptability. Findings indicate that profession-oriented English instruction significantly improves students’ readiness for international collaboration, professional mobility, and career growth.
