Abstract

The modernization of technical education requires new pedagogical approaches to English language teaching. Traditional grammar-focused instruction does not adequately prepare technical college students for professional communication in a globalized labor market. This article examines innovative methods of teaching English in technical colleges, including Task-Based Learning, Project-Based Learning, Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), blended learning, digital technologies, and simulation-based instruction. The study analyzes their theoretical foundations, practical applications, and impact on students’ communicative competence and professional readiness. The findings indicate that innovative methodologies significantly enhance motivation, professional vocabulary acquisition, and workplace communication skills. The article concludes with recommendations for effective implementation in vocational education institutions.
