Abstract

Pregnancy and maternal health represent a critical area of public health that directly affects the survival and well-being of both mothers and their children. Maternal health encompasses the physical, mental, and social conditions of women during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postnatal period. A healthy pregnancy ensures not only the safe delivery of a child but also promotes long-term health for the mother. However, in many parts of the world, women still face serious health challenges due to inadequate access to healthcare, poor nutrition, and lack of awareness about maternal care.
