Abstract

This article examines the role of artificial intelligence in increasing students’ motivation in learning English as a foreign language. Motivation is a key factor that influences students’ engagement, persistence, and success in language learning. The study discusses how AI-powered tools and platforms create interactive, personalized, and flexible learning environments that encourage students to participate more actively in the learning process. Artificial intelligence provides immediate feedback, adaptive learning materials, and opportunities for autonomous practice, which help learners feel more confident and motivated. In addition, AI technologies such as chatbots, language learning applications, and intelligent tutoring systems make the learning process more engaging and enjoyable. As a result, students develop a stronger interest in practicing English and improving their language skills. The article highlights the educational potential of AI and its positive impact on students’ motivation and learning outcomes in English language education.
