EFFECTIVE WAYS TO IMPROVE LISTENING SKILLS IN LANGUAGE LEARNING

Abstract

This article examines effective ways to improve listening skill in language learning and plays a crucial role in effective communication. Many language learners face difficulties in understanding spoken English due to factors such as fast speech, unfamiliar vocabulary, and different accents. This study focuses on exploring effective methods for improving listening skills among language learners. Several strategies such as using authentic materials, interactive classroom activities, and repeated listening practice were applied. The results show that regular listening practice significantly improves students’ comprehension abilities and confidence in communication. The findings suggest that teachers should integrate various listening activities and technological resources to support learners in developing this important language skill.
