This article examines the socio-hygienic and occupational risk factors for the development of spinal osteochondrosis among the working-age population. The study was conducted on the basis of a questionnaire survey among 243 respondents in primary health care settings. Social-hygienic, sociological, statistical, and analytical methods were employed in the course of the research. The findings demonstrated that physical inactivity, poor ergonomic conditions at the workplace, and low medical literacy are major limiting factors for effective prevention. Based on the findings, priority directions for improving preventive strategies, including "Back Schools" and digital health monitoring, were identified to reduce morbidity and enhance the quality of life for the labor force.
