Abstract

In the 21st century, environmental sustainability has become one of the most urgent global challenges. Rapid industrialization, urbanization, and population growth have led to increased environmental degradation, climate change, and depletion of natural resources. In this context, digital technologies, particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data analytics, are playing a transformative role in addressing environmental issues. This paper explores how digital technologies contribute to sustainable development by improving resource efficiency, enhancing environmental monitoring, and supporting informed decision-making. The study also examines real-world applications, challenges, and future prospects of integrating AI and data-driven solutions into environmental management systems.
