This article analyzes the growing role of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies as a key instrument of global geopolitical competition. It comparatively examines the AI strategies of the United States, China, and the European Union, focusing on export control mechanisms, digital infrastructure, and regulatory approaches. The study demonstrates that AI models, data centers, and technological standards have evolved beyond purely economic tools and are increasingly becoming geopolitical assets that shape the international order. The article argues that the state capable of expanding its AI ecosystem on a global scale will play a decisive role in defining the norms and rules of 21st-century international relations
