VOCABULARY REINFORCEMENT STRATEGIES FOR ADULT LEARNERS

Abstract

This study investigates a range of approaches centered on strengthening vocabulary in order to enhance learners’ lexical competence. A number of techniques have been identified as especially useful for consolidating vocabulary knowledge and promoting its active application. By applying these approaches, adult learners can experience a broad and multifaceted process of vocabulary development. Continuous practice, practical use in everyday contexts, and active engagement are vital, as they support deeper comprehension and long-term memory of newly learned words.
