Abstract

Background. COVID-19 infection affects multiple organ systems, activating inflammatory and autoimmune processes and worsening the course of chronic diseases. In particular, juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) in children may exhibit altered clinical and laboratory manifestations during the post-COVID-19 period.
