Keywords:

This paper explores the major differences between British and American English, focusing on vocabulary, pronunciation, spelling, and cultural influences. Although both varieties share a common linguistic foundation, they have evolved differently due to historical, social, and geographical factors. The study is theoretical and based on linguistic literature. The findings show that the distinctions between the two varieties reflect cultural identity and regional preferences rather than incorrect usage.
