THE IMPACT OF TECHNOLOGY ON ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNING

Abstract

This paper examines how modern technology influences the process of learning English as a foreign language. Digital tools such as mobile applications, online platforms, artificial intelligence, and multimedia resources have transformed traditional language learning environments. The study is theoretical and based on academic literature in applied linguistics and educational technology. Findings show that technology enhances learner motivation, accessibility, and autonomy but also presents challenges related to distraction and unequal access.
