Abstract

This article explores several modern methodological approaches used in foreign language teaching, including the communicative approach, task-based learning, blended learning, and gamification. The study analyzes how these methods influence students’ motivation, participation, and practical language skills. Findings show that communicative activities help learners gain confidence in speaking, while task-based learning improves real-life language use. Blended learning supports independent study through digital tools, and gamification increases engagement by adding game-like elements to lessons.

The discussion highlights that although each method has clear benefits, their effectiveness depends on students’ needs, classroom conditions, and the teacher’s ability to apply them correctly. The study concludes that combining different modern methods creates a more balanced and learner-centered environment, making foreign language learning more interactive, enjoyable, and effective overall.
