This article provides an in-depth analysis of the pedagogical, methodological, and assessment-related advantages of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) in English language education. The study explores CEFR’s role in curriculum design, competency-based instruction, standardized assessment, teacher professionalization, digital integration, and global comparability. It also examines practical challenges in implementing CEFR in developing contexts and proposes systematic recommendations for improving CEFR-based teaching. The paper synthesizes international research findings to establish CEFR as a cornerstone of modern ELT.
