Ushbu maqolada xorijiy davlatlarda STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) ta'lim texnologiyasining kelib chiqishi, shakllanishi va rivojlanish tarixi ko'rib chiqilgan. Maqolada AQSh, Yaponiya, Finlyandiya, Xitoy va boshqa yetakchi davlatlarda STEAM ta'limining joriy etilishi, uning boshlang'ich ta'limdagi o'rni hamda pedagogik ahamiyati tahlil qilingan. Tadqiqot natijalari ko'rsatadiki, STEAM yondashuvi o'quvchilarning ijodiy va tanqidiy fikrlash qobiliyatlarini rivojlantirishda muhim rol o'ynaydi. Shuningdek, maqolada xorijiy tajribalardan O'zbekiston ta'lim tizimiga tatbiq etish bo'yicha tavsiyalar berilgan.
