Ushbu tezisda boshlang‘ich sinf o‘quvchilariga ingliz tilini hikoyalar orqali o‘rgatishda hikoya matnini to‘g‘ri tanlash, dars bosqichlarini aniq rejalash va o‘quvchini faol qatnashtirish masalalari yoritiladi. Avvalgi maqoladagi umumiy nazariy fikrlar takrorlanmaydi. Asosiy e’tibor amaliy muammolarga qaratiladi: hikoya yoshga mos bo‘lishi, matn haddan tashqari uzun bo‘lmasligi, so‘zlar dars maqsadiga xizmat qilishi, savollar esa o‘quvchini gapirishga undashi kerak. Tadqiqotda mavjud ilmiy manbalar tahlili, metodik qiyoslash va amaliy tavsif usullaridan foydalaniladi. Natijada hikoya asosidagi dars samarali chiqishi uchun faqat qiziqarli matn emas, balki aniq tanlangan faoliyatlar zanjiri ham zarur ekani ko‘rsatiladi.
