Maqolada boshlang’ich sinf matematikasida matnli masalalarni yechishda model metodi (vizual modellashtirish, “bar model”) dan foydalanishning ilmiy-metodik asoslari, nazariy kelib chiqishi va amaliy joriy etish yo’llari yoritilgan. Tadqiqotda J.Bruner’ning konkret-tasviriy-abstrakt (C–P–A) yondashuvi, qism-butun va qiyoslash modellari hamda model metodini bosqichma-bosqich o’rgatishning pedagogik tizimi tahlil qilingan. Tajriba-sinov natijalari model metodi o’quvchilarning matnli masalalarni tushunish va yechish kompetensiyasini sezilarli rivojlantirishini tasdiqlaydi.
