In today's rapidly changing educational environment, creative approaches have become an essential component of effective English language teaching (ELT). Traditional teacher-centered methods are gradually being replaced by innovative instructional strategies that encourage learner engagement, critical thinking, collaboration, and meaningful communication. Creative teaching integrates various techniques, including project-based learning, storytelling, role-playing, gamification, digital technologies, visual arts, and problem-solving activities, to create dynamic and student-centered learning environments. Such approaches not only improve learners' linguistic competence but also enhance motivation, confidence, and independent learning skills. This theoretical review examines the importance of creativity in English language teaching by analyzing current educational theories and research findings. The paper discusses the benefits, challenges, and future prospects of creative teaching practices in ELT. The findings suggest that creative instruction significantly contributes to language acquisition, communicative competence, and learner autonomy. Therefore, educators should integrate creative methodologies into English language classrooms to improve both teaching effectiveness and learning outcomes.
