Abstract

This article is devoted to a comprehensive analysis of the role and 
significance of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies in the process of teaching and 
learning the English language, as well as their potential to enhance the quality of 
education. In the modern digital learning environment, AI technologies have emerged 
as an essential tool for personalized instruction, ensuring individualized learning pace, 
and developing learners’ communicative competence. The article examines, from both 
theoretical and practical perspectives, the functional capabilities of AI-based platforms, 
language learning applications, virtual assistants, automated assessment systems, and 
adaptive learning programs in English language education.
