Abstract

This comprehensive work explores modern theory and practice
relating to the use of innovative educational technologies in enhancing the linguistic
competence of students learning Russian as a foreign language. It analyzes
pedagogical challenges, reviews various digital and interactive methods, and discusses
the effectiveness of contemporary instructional tools in shaping students’
communicative, grammatical, and cultural proficiency. Special attention is given to
blended learning, virtual classrooms, mobile applications, gamification, and AI
powered platforms, as well as to the pedagogical strategies for their most effective
implementation. The study is grounded in contemporary linguistic, psychological, and
methodological research and offers practical recommendations for optimizing
language instruction in higher education contexts.
