O'tkir revmatik isitma (ORI) — A guruhi beta-gemolitik streptokokk
infektsiyasidan keyin yuzaga keladigan autoimmun yallig'lanish kasalligi bo'lib, yurak,
bo'g'imlar, asab tizimi va teriga ta'sir qiladi. Surunkali yallig'lanish, harakatsizlik va
davolashda qo'llaniladigan glukokortikoidlar (masalan, prednizolon) suyak
metabolizmini buzadi, osteopeniya va osteoporoz rivojlanishiga olib keladi. Bu holat,
ayniqsa bolalar va o'smirlarda suyak sinishi xavfini oshiradi.
