Abstract

Abstract
The development of digital technologies has changed many areas of modern
Lexicography. Electronic dictionaries are widely used in education, communication,
and language learning because they help users quickly find meanings, pronunciations,
and translations. They are especially popular among students since they are easy to
access on phones and computers and save time during study.
At the same time, printed dictionaries are still widely used. They are prepared
carefully by experts and are considered more reliable in academic work. This study
compares both types of dictionaries by looking at their strengths and weaknesses. The
results  show  that  electronic  dictionaries  are  more  common  in  everyday  use,  while
printed dictionaries remain important in research and formal education. Overall, both
types continue to be useful in different situations.
