Ushbu maqolada keton tanachalari — asetoatsetat, beta-gidroksibutirat va
aseton — ning sintez va parchalanish mexanizmlari, organizmda tutgan o'rni hamda
ochlik, 1-toifa diabet mellitusi va ketogen dieta sharoitidagi ahamiyati ko'rib
chiqilgan. Keton tanachalarining miya, yurak va skelet mushaklari uchun muqobil
energiya manbai sifatidagi roli, shuningdek patologik ketoatsidoz holati va uning
klinik oqibatlari tahlil qilingan. 2020–2025 yillardagi ilmiy adabiyotlar asosida ketoz
holatining terapevtik imkoniyatlari ham yoritilgan.
