Annotatsiya. Ushbu maqolada Ingliz va o'zbek tillarining fonetik sistemalari
qiyosiy tahlil qilingan. Tadqiqot natijalariga ko'ra, Ingliz tilida 24 ta konsonant va 20
ta vokal tovush mavjud bo'lsa, o'zbek tilida 22 ta konsonant va 6 ta vokal tovush ketma-
ketligi aniqlanmish. Maqolada stress va intonatsiyaning ahamiyati, assimilyatsiya
jarayonlari va yazma ifodalashtirish usullari alohida o'rganilgan.
