Annotatsiya: Ushbu maqolada Kristofer Marloning “Buyuk Temur” tragediyasi
janr xususiyatlari nuqtai nazaridan tahlil qilinadi. Ingliz Uyg‘onish davri
dramaturgiyasida burilish nuqtasi bo‘lgan asar an’anaviy tragediya qonuniyatlarini
o‘zgartirgan. Tadqiqotda qahramon tipologiyasi, poetik adolat tamoyilining buzilishi,
bo‘sh misra vositasida tilning yangilanishi va ikki qismli epik tuzilish orqali Marlo
tragediyasining o‘ziga xosligi ochib beriladi. Shuningdek, “haddan oshuvchi”
qahramon konsepsiyasining Renessans individualizmi bilan bog‘liqligi va asarning
keyingi davr dramaturgiyasiga ta’siri yoritiladi.
